Percent Breakage upon Delivery

ReplyAdd your experience or ask a follow-up question.

Question: Do I need to know the percent breakage in the shipment (if any) before the driver leaves the site? Or can I wait to unpack the pool coping as I begin to use it?

Answer: Any damage incurred during transportation needs to be documented on the delivery receipt and noted with the driver, otherwise no claim can be filed.

Transportation damage is very clear upon first glance as outer pieces and edges of the pallet of Travertine will be visually and obviously broken.

Anything over 4% that was not damaged during shipment needs to be reported to Travertine Mart within 7 days of receiving the shipment.
