What is the difference between standard grade and premium select travertine pavers
Premium Select Travertine Pavers are denser and contain far fewer holes than Standard Grade Travertine Pavers.
The Premium Select grade has a dense structure with minimal holes and tiny pores.
The Standard grade contains many holes throughout, which can be filled with silicon based epoxy and/or sand. If the holes are filled, this product is an excellent choice for value buyers and contractors.
Standard grade is not suggested in freeze/thaw climates however as the material will most likely not hold up over time.
