Are Travertine Pavers slippery when wet?

Question: Are Travertine Pavers slippery when wet?

Answer: Our Travertine Pavers have been independently 3rd-party tested and were found to be less slippery when wet, as indicated by the Co-Efficient of Friction test results; usually an average dry 0.60 to an average wet 0.74.

Our Travertine Pavers are considered “Conditionally Slip-Resistant” meaning that if no other factors come into play, only Travertine and water, it is slip-resistant. Many cities and counties nationwide consider 0.6 as the minimum to be called “Slip-Resistant."
