Travertine Mart highly recommends dry-set paver installation for all projects using Travertine Pavers. Travertine Pavers are easier to install than most other paving materials. They are easily laid and, if necessary, easily replaced.

Depending on your climate, there are a couple of options for installation:

Dry-set Installation: This method of installation is suitable in Southern climates as well as Northern climates.

Mud-set Installation: This method of installation is only suitable in Southern climates, although it is not preferred.

Please note: In freeze/thaw climates, sand-set is the only recommended installation method. If you need to mortar the travertine, use a flexible mortar such as Flex-Bond.
